How to delete a floor from a building?

💡 Did you create a floor by mistake or simply want to clean up a building's configuration? Deleting a floor requires a specific action via the space management section.

How to delete a floor

Currently, there is no direct delete button in the floor list. To delete a level (even an empty one), you must go through the space editing menu. Here is the trick:

1. Go to the Resources > Space management menu.
2. Select an existing space in the relevant building (any space will do) and click on the pencil ✏️ to edit it.
3. Go to the Location tab.
4. In the "Floor" dropdown menu, select the floor you wish to delete.
5. Once this floor is selected, click on the Delete floor option that appears.

⚠️ Warning: This action will delete the floor from the building's configuration. Make sure beforehand that no other active space is actually used on this floor.

Special case: the "ghost" floor

If you created a floor by mistake (e.g., a typo) and it contains no spaces:

• Rest assured: as long as it is empty, this floor is often only visible to you (administrators) and does not disrupt your users' map.
• If the method above does not work for an empty and inaccessible floor, please do not hesitate to contact support for a manual deletion from the database.
